Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Medical Assistants MA, Home Health Aide, STNA to provide comprehensive and essential support to individuals in their own homes. This ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in daily living/personal care, home management, basic technical support, and companion care to enhance the quality of life, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of individuals in their own homes. The candidate will be proactive, reliable, and skilled in creating a supportive and nurturing environment for clients.

Personal Tasks

Assist with monthly bill payments and financial management under the guidance of the client or designated family member. Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring timely communication and updates. Provide medication reminders as per prescribed schedules. Perform laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing clothing. Engage clients in meaningful socialization activities to promote emotional well-being. Assist with bathing and dressing or any personal Hygiene needs of the client. Run errands for client to store, pharmacy etc.

2. Home Management

Conduct minor home repair tasks and basic maintenance as needed. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Assist with home organization to improve functionality and comfort. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary requirements or preferences.

3. Technical Support

Set up and configure electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, and computers. Provide online support and troubleshooting for basic technical issues.

4. Companion Care

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with incontinence care and mobility needs, including transfers and ambulation. Accompany clients on grocery shopping trips or shop on their behalf. Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical devices and equipment.

Qualifications:

Active CNA, CMA, STNA, Home Health Aide certification in Ohio, or appropriate MA training according to state requirements. Previous experience in home healthcare or similar roles is preferred. However, new graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in basic technical troubleshooting and device setup. Ability to build trust and rapport with clients through patience and empathy. Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting and mobility assistance.

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
