As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance within their own homes. You will provide compassionate care, support daily living activities, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. What you'll do
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs as required.
Monitor clients' health by observing changes in their condition and reporting to healthcare professionals.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their emotional well-being.
Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of care provided.
Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
Basic qualifications
Experience in geriatrics or related fields is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Preferred qualifications
Level II trauma center experience is a plus.
Familiarity with hospital medicine or emergency medicine practices.
Experience in Level I Trauma Center settings or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
Background in operating room (OR) procedures or medical-surgical environments.
Knowledge of inpatient, outpatient, clinic, sub-acute care, or post-acute care settings is beneficial.
Teaching hospital experience is advantageous.
