What is a Konare Law Paralegal?
As a Paralegal at Konare Law, you'll work closely with attorneys to support clients through their immigration journey. You'll manage casework, keep clients informed, and help prepare legal filings and trial materials. Every step of the way, you'll play a vital role in helping clients feel supported and represented.
Responsibilities
Keep cases organized by maintaining files, monitoring calendars, meeting deadlines, documenting actions and client communications, updating the file database, and confirming case status with attorneys.
Keep clients informed through regular contact and updates on case progress.
Assist assigned attorneys with trial preparation.
Maintain client confidence by safeguarding confidential client/attorney information.
Attend all assigned client meetings, both in person and virtually.
Track the status of client filings and ensure timely follow-up.
Prepare and draft motions, routine correspondence, and filings with federal and state agencies; serve as a liaison to court personnel.
Compile indexes, pleadings, exhibits, checklists, motions, and conduct legal research for litigation proceedings.

Candidate should have the willingness to cross-train for other job functions.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree with two years of legal experience or associate degree with three years of legal experience
Certification: Paralegal Certificate (Preferred)
Experience: Two years of immigration experience and two years of customer service experience.
