Criminal defense and immigration law firm has a position open for an Immigration associate. Firm is located in Downtown Boston near all T lines. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to represent individuals who are seeking Immigration benefits or need representation in Immigration proceedings. The associate will assist with various legal tasks and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. There will also be opportunities to learn Criminal law and the intersection between criminal and Immigration law. Candidates should be eager to learn and contribute to our firm's success.

Duties

Meet with potential and current clients. Prepare and file immigration applications. Represent individuals in Immigration proceedings and interviews. Conduct thorough legal research on various topics, including but not limited to Immigration law and Criminal law. Speak and meet with clients who are incarcerated or detained.

Qualifications

Have passed the Massachusetts bar. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Familiarity with Immigration law through coursework or prior internship/employment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Desire to work with the local Latino population, including individuals who may have a criminal record. Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
