Immigration Attorney (Entry-Level, Spanish-English Bilingual)

Union Law Group is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) attorney to join our San Diego team in an entry-level litigation support role. This is a unique opportunity for a newly licensed attorney--or someone awaiting Bar results --to gain hands-on experience in immigration law while working alongside a mission-driven legal team.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role
You will support our senior attorneys in active immigration cases, including court hearings, USCIS interviews, and administrative proceedings. This position does not involve direct client consultations at this time, but offers valuable exposure to litigation, advocacy, and case preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in EOIR hearings, USCIS interviews, ICE check-ins, and guardianship proceedings. Draft motions, briefs, appeals (including I-290B), and responses to RFE/NOID. Prepare case files and legal strategies under the guidance of lead attorneys. Collaborate with the legal team to ensure timely and high-quality litigation support.
Qualifications

Active license to practice law in the U.S. (California Bar preferred), or currently awaiting Bar results (November release). Fluent in both English and Spanish (required). Strong legal writing, research, and organizational skills. Willingness to learn, travel, and grow within a collaborative team. Commitment to immigrant rights and access to justice.
Preferred Experience

Business immigration knowledge (TN, E-1, E-2, L, O, H1B, EB2 NIW, etc.) is a plus.
