Overall Objective and Purpose

Responsible for the proper implementation of the Operational Support deliverables for domestic

and international projects to ensure effective and efficient Computer

Operations processes, documentation, and hands-on training are completed for online, instant,

video, and other lottery systems and products. Additionally, the Data Ops Analyst

II provides ongoing technical operational support to existing customers via formal request.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Project:

  • As part of the support team, the Data Ops Analyst II interfaces directly, Lead Project Manager(s), corporate support/supply personnel, specific lottery personnel, and site Management to agree on deliveries, suggest strategies and meet Operational project requirements.
  • Responsible for learning new systems and applications and how they integrate with specific operational job functions and operational business processes for a given customer\xe2\x80\x99s environment.
  • Responsible for the delivery of Operational Support project deliverables with limited guidance.
  • Responsible for the development, testing, and delivery of Computer Operations procedures, processes, and checklists.
  • Responsible for continuous trouble-free operation of computer systems throughout the project lifecycle. Includes defining errors, providing resolution (or tracking to resolution), and determining escalation by utilizing experience and defined procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to prescribed schedules and operating policies and procedures.
  • Assists in the mentoring of site resources
  • Deliver on-the-job training to operational personnel and provide a documented review of
  • operational team to project leadership.
  • Work as a team member to ensure that the Training Needs Analysis sessions address business processes related to operational entrance/exit activities.
  • Document and appropriately escalate operational risks.
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Services:
  • Perform Operational reviews for existing jurisdictions
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of operations personnel as required.
  • Make recommendations regarding improved operating systems, tools, and procedures for new and existing products/jurisdictions.
  • Provide 24-hour front-line operations support for existing jurisdictions.
  • Respond accordingly during system emergencies to minimize financial penalties.
  • Investigate incidents in the production environment, assist with the resolution, and ensure follow-up items are addressed.
  • Request alert management of software changes to be made.
  • Review and provide feedback on audit requests

Up to 90% travel. On Call. Complex and varying operating environments and delivery

requirements.

Experience and Education
  • Bachelor\'s degree or 0-2 years of related experience or equivalent.
  • 3 plus years of related experience
  • Operational proficiency in Unix, Linux, JBOSS, DB2, Telnet, Remote Desktop, and basic scripting.
  • Operational efficiency in IGT proprietary environments such as Aurora, the ES suite and ProSys
  • Proficient in the following PC Skills: Word, Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, Outlook

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills,

experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated

starting compensation range is $54,500 - $105,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or

lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements,

where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission.
