Join our vibrant team as an Ignacio Early Learning Program Teacher Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. What you'll do

Assist the lead teacher in developing and executing lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. Support classroom management by maintaining a structured and positive environment conducive to learning. Engage with children through interactive activities that promote literacy education, math concepts, and social skills. Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs or disabilities, ensuring all children thrive. Foster effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum materials that align with educational standards. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among students. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Basic qualifications

Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred qualifications

Background in early childhood education or related field. Familiarity with Montessori methods or preschool experience is a plus. Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or other disabilities. Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for young learners.

Pay: $15.79 - $20.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
