Job Description

The Product Developer is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically, a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic initiatives for Counterparty Exposure Product Development including cross workstream alignment and target state projects such as T+1 SLA for metrics, WCR stress loss etc.
• Work in close co-ordination with 2nd line and 1st line risk managers, second line risk managers to understand stakeholder priorities and build the technology book of work
• Work with technology to build plans and infrastructure for target state initiatives
• Provide governance for all projects, manage issues and dependencies
• Establish working groups or committees to keep all initiatives on track and facilitate stakeholder alignment
• Communicate key findings and issues to senior management and provide regular status updates
• Create presentations and documents for internal and regulatory use on various topics including, stress methodologies, and summarizing stress testing issues

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in the financial industry and banking
• Subject matter expertise in counterparty credit risk, risk management concepts, data, systems and processes
• Understanding of Derivatives, SFTs, Loans and other wholesale products
• Understanding of stress testing, credit and market data, pricing, calculations and reporting
• Large scale project management experience
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with good attention to detail and a demonstrated aptitude for tackling issues
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams from Business, Credit, Operations and Compliance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity, analytical and conceptual
• Ability to collaborate and clearly communicate with senior members of an organization
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing in a large and complex business

• Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/University degree, Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred
