SUMMARY

:

Hyatt Place Reno is seeking friendly, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Front Desk Host. This role is ideal for those who enjoy variety in their workday and take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences. At Hyatt Place, our Hosts do more than check guests in and out -- they play a key role in all aspects of the hotel, from coordinating shuttle service to assisting with food & beverage operations.

Success in this role comes from your ability to anticipate guest needs, handle multiple tasks with efficiency, and deliver outstanding customer care with every interaction. You will represent the Hyatt brand's commitment to care and excellence, ensuring that each guest feels valued, comfortable, and cared for from arrival to departure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately Manage reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiries both in person and via phone/email Operate the hotel shuttle, providing timely and safe transportation for guests (valid driver's license required) Assist with food and beverage operations, including preparation, service, and cleanup in our Gallery Kitchen and Bar Maintain a clean and organized front desk, lobby, and common areas Monitor guest needs and proactively offer solutions to enhance their stay Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure smooth daily operations Perform additional tasks as needed to support hotel operations (we wear many hats!) Standing for up to 8 hours.

Qualifications:

Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred, but not required
