Job Description

Pay is $24-$30 per hour. Shift is a 1st from 6am-2:30pm Monday through Friday.

Description:

Must meet qualifications of General Repairman. Must be able to trouble shoot and repair all electrical and mechanical problems in HVAC systems. Must be proficient in welding, brazing and soldering. Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, drawings, wiring diagrams of HVAC systems. Long exposure to outside temperature both summer and winter. Approximately 15 degree F to 100 degree F temperature variations. Units are serviced daily in all weather. Use of lift trucks required. Responsible for complete changes of inside mounted gas furniture. Works under the direction of Head A/C & Heating Worker and the supervision of Maintenance Supervisor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must be able to correctly use all specialty equipment needed for heating & air conditioning repair, servicing and installation.

Must be able to read and interrupt drawings, sketches and wiring diagrams of A/C & Heating systems.

Must be able to trouble shoot and repair all electrical and mechanical problems in A/C & heating equipment.

Know and use correct methods in welding, soldering and brazing A/C & Heating System.

Must be able to use material handling equipment such as: lifts, power trucks, hand trucks, and roof tuggers.

Services A/C & heat units per schedule.

Removes and replaces complete heat units & A/C compressors.

Replaces fluorescent light fixtures, ballast and bulbs as necessary.

Must be able to read electrical schematics.

Must be able to diagnose problems within the HVAC equipment and make repairs in accordance within all electrical code, environmental guidelines and State of Arkansas health codes.

Must be able to use all tools and equipment common to the HVAC industries.
