Job Description

Royal Supply in Wichita, KS is looking to hire a year round, full time, HVAC Service Technician to leade, install and repair Manufactured Housing Heating and Air Conditioning systems. NO ON CALL, NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS!!!

Here at Royal/Durham we are known as the place to find doors, windows, skirting, setup supplies, trim, hardware, electrical, and HVAC parts/equipment specific to Manufactured Housing. We currently sell both Carrier and Revolv A/C condensing units, evaporator coils, furnaces, and parts to the majority of the Communities in Central and Western Kansas as well as parts of Nebraska.

This position would be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance and installs to a variety of equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, and humidifiers. Ensures all work performed is done professionally, timely and accurately according to all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Trains new associates on companies\xe2\x80\x99 policies and procedures.
• Coach and develop associates on HVAC installation and service.
• Works safely and ensures safety procedures are followed by all team members.
• Coach and develop associates on HVAC installation and technical services
• Premeasures jobs to identify proper materials required for scope of work.
• Performs the installation of household appliances as needed.
• Completes all required paperwork prior to the end of the shift.
• Receives, verifies, and loads all equipment and materials needed for each job and maintains stock levels on truck.
• Maintains the company\xe2\x80\x99s vehicle and notifies management when maintenance is required.
• Effectively communicates with the Service Manager to address departmental challenges.
• Independently addresses customer complaints and properly escalates items requiring input and direction from the Service Manager.
• Ensures that all work is completed according to manufacturer specification.
• Effectively handles all code violations and ensures all corrections are made in accordance with the required timeframe.
• Ensures office dispatcher/supervisor is aware of job status and any delays that may occur.
• Performs after hours calls in accordance with company policy
• The ability to perform sales as directed by manager.
• Always performs work in a professional manner. Ensures customers are always treated with respect. Reports any issues or problems to manager immediately.

REQUIREMENTS: * A High school diploma or GED is required.

• Must have completed a trade school program in applicable field preferred.
• Must be EPA 608 Certified.
• Five (5) years of experience of HVAC installation and service technician preferred.
• Meets the requirements of an HVAC Installer Service Technician.
