Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The successful applicant will have a strong background in HVAC systems and be proficient in various aspects of the trade.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently and safely. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and inspecting equipment. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including heating pumps, air conditioning units, and plumbing systems. Conduct energy audits and provide recommendations for energy efficiency improvements. Use specialized tools and equipment to perform tasks, including welding and plumbing. Collaborate with other technicians and tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Drive a company van to and from job sites. Repair and maintain commercial appliances, including refrigeration systems that use ammonia. Ensure all work is done in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education in HVAC technology or a related field. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Proven experience as an HVAC Technician. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and their operation. Experience with equipment repair and maintenance. Strong mechanical skills and a good understanding of HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment. A valid certification as an HVAC Technician, if required by local regulations.
