Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various HVAC/R equipment. The HVAC Technician will ensure that systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioners, and ventilation systems. Service heat pump, mini split, VRF and rooftop units Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand system designs and layouts. Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems. Collaborate with customers to provide solutions that meet their heating and cooling needs. Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all installations and repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory of parts used.

Skills

Proficient in appliance repair techniques related to HVAC systems. Experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings for system design and installation. Ability to weld when necessary for equipment repair or installation tasks. Knowledge of boiler systems and their operation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
