Position Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced

Commercial HVAC Service Technician

to join our team in

Raleigh, NC

. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong diagnostic skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in commercial and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and service repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, and boilers. Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and recommend cost-effective solutions. Complete preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Accurately document all work performed, including parts used and time spent, in service reports. Communicate effectively with customers, providing professional updates, recommendations, and explanations of services. Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other team members to ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction. Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician, specifically in commercial or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components. EPA Universal Certification required; NATE certification preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
