job summary:
Global manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Technician to add to their team in the Lansing, MI area. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical equipment. Commercial HVAC/refrigeration experience required. Daily local and regional travel required. Company vehicle provided. One week per month of on-call work required. Overtiime pay at time and a half over 40 hours.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:

• Responsible for meeting the customer\'s needs in the proper troubleshooting, servicing and repairing of dairy equipment.

• Excellent customer service skills required regarding customer interaction

• Create maintenance program for farms

• Advise customers on the proper use, operation and maintenance of dairy equipment

• Troubleshoot and maintain milking and sanitizing equipment

• Drive a sales/service vehicle, and maintain the vehicle and parts/tools to complete job

• Inventory management and preparation of invoices for services performed or products sold

• Minimum high school degree and basic mathematical aptitude required

• strong organizational skills, including good written and oral communication skills

• Ability to travel is required, must possess a valid driver\'s license

• Motivated, self-starter who can work independently, yet function and participate as part of a team
