Position Summary: The HVAC Chiller Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing chiller systems used in commercial and industrial facilities. This position requires a strong background in HVAC systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration principles. The technician should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on chiller systems to ensure proper operation
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with chiller systems and make necessary repairs
  • Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, motors, and controls
  • Perform electrical work related to the installation and repair of chiller systems
  • Install new chiller systems in new and existing buildings
  • Document work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and services performed
  • Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
  • Stay up-to-date with new HVAC technologies and industry standards
Qualifications:

A Chiller Technician must have the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative in servicing customers and maintaining positive customer relations. Our Technician should have great communication skills and a strong knowledge of HVAC, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
  • High school degree or GED, HVAC or Technical training preferred
  • 2 + years previous experience in the HVAC industry
  • EPA Universal License
  • Great Communication Skill \xe2\x80\x93 Ability to interact with customers comfortably
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to meet physical demands
