The Sierra Nevada Regional Department of Child Support Services (SNRDCSS) is excited to announce an opportunity to join our leadership team as a Human Services Supervisor!
At SNRDCSS, our mission is to enrich the lives of children by encouraging parents to share in financial responsibilities in an equitable and courteous manner. Our core services include establishing parentage and child support, as well as enforcing support orders.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of a unit of employees in the establishment and enforcement of child support orders.
• Holds individual and group conferences to discuss or interpret rules, regulations, and policies.
• Collaborates with staff to identify and resolve discrepancies in the system.
• Using reports and data tools such as Tableau, analyzes individual and team performance, identifying areas for development and implementing strategies to improve outcomes.
• Determines when training or oversight is needed and provides appropriate training and guidance.

Nevada County employees can opt to receive dental and vision insurance without opting for health insurance coverage as well. This will give employees more flexibility to match their choice of insurance plans to their specific needs. The County is a member of the CalPERS retirement system and also provides the opportunity for voluntary contributions to a 457 deferred compensation account through Nationwide by way of pre-tax and Roth payroll deductions.
