Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Wildomar, CA based team as a Human Resources/Payroll Manager. We design and manufacture a wide range of steel structures including industrial mezzanines, equipment platforms, steel buildings and steel reinforced barns. FCP is a customer-centric and collaborative company that is looking for a talented individual to help us continue our over forty years of innovation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the human resources function, processing payroll and handling other essential tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The workload is roughly 30% human resources, 30% payroll, and 40% accounting and other tasks.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
Oversee the full recruitment cycle, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Manage the onboarding and new hire process.
Identify legal requirements impacting the human resources function, and monitor potential exposure and mitigate company risk.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, policy compliance, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate training & development initiatives to enhance employee skills and foster growth.
Assist with ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Manage and guarantee the accurate and timely processing of biweekly payroll for over 70 employees.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Qualification and Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, but not required.
Proven experience in Human Resources.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Strong knowledge of payroll software and an understanding of basic accounting principles.
Paycom Payroll software experience preferred, but not required.
Experience with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERPAccounting System.
Microsoft 365 applications - Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive.
Adobe Acrobat.
High degree of professionalism and solid ability in handling confidential information.
Basic knowledge construction industry and practices helpful.
Team player with the ability to work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
