Blanket Fort Hope is a Christ-centered nonprofit serving child survivors of trafficking, with the Restoration Home providing a safe, long-term place for girls ages 12-18 to heal and thrive.



Human Resource Representative/Bookkeeper (full-time)



The human resources representative and bookkeeper assist the CEO with the employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, maintain personnel records, and ensure compliance with company personnel and financial policies and procedures. Additionally, the human resources representative and bookkeeper processes payroll and benefits administration. Regarding responsibilities in bookkeeping, the human resources representative and bookkeeper accurately records and maintains financial transactions for BFH. This role is essential to providing timely and reliable financial information to support decision-making and ensure BFH's financial health and compliance.



Onboard new hires and offboard separating employees. Maintain accurate and updated employees' records per BFH policy, procedures and state, federal and DHR guidelines. Set-up and administer employee benefits per BFH policy. Process payroll and taxes. Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations, and BFH policies. Coordinate employee training. Properly record financial transactions. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Reconcile bank statements. Generate financial reports. Maintain financial records. Support audit and tax preparation. Process and issue donor statements. Process and issue W2's. Create budget and upon Board approval enter budget in Quickbooks. Serve as contact for utilities and repair issues. Assist accounting firm in completing Form 990 information. Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in administrative and customer service roles Experience in human resources, bookkeeping and payroll Minimum of five (5) years' experience in bookkeeping principles and accounting. Experience in QuickBooks and working in a non-profit
