HR Associate
Location: Hybrid, In the office on Tuesdays and Thursday and remote for the remainder

Duration: 25 weeks
*Please ensure that candidates have at least intermediate Excel skills, specifically, the ability to use PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas confidently. Additionally, ensure that they have compensation experience.
QUESTIONS / Candidates must answer the questions below and notate their resume in the beginning of their resume after the coversheet.
1. Describe a time you used a PivotTable. What kind of data were you analyzing, and what insights were you looking for?
2. If a manager asked for a quick summary of headcount by department and job title, how would you build that in a PivotTable?
3. Explain the difference between VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP. When would you use one versus the other?
4. If you had to match salary data from one spreadsheet to employee names in another, how would you do it?
5. Have you ever used data validation or conditional formatting to improve accuracy in spreadsheets?
HR Associate will be working to respond to employee inquiries regarding step/rate questions, research step placement issues, assist in audits, etc.
Required Experience:
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and multi-tasking/attention to detail
Prior experience working in HR especially Compensation would be especially helpful.
Work is repetitive in terms of researching answers and responding to the employee. As such candidate will need to be able to actively research employee data from multiple sources including HRIS (People Soft) and spreadsheets
