Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting business needs and ensuring the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of fostering a positive workplace culture while managing various HR functions effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

:

. Education/experience- four (4) year degree from an accredited school in human resources management and/or equivalent experience.

2. Demonstrate an ability to relate to general public and staff.

3. Exhibit an aptitude for accurate record keeping, reporting and writing.

4. Maintain flexibility in meeting job responsibilities.

5. Exhibit flexibility, willingness and commitment to attend professional meetings and training.

6. Show the ability to function effectively and appropriately with various community agencies, programs and professionals. Maintain a professional image while representing Head Start.

7. Must have a valid driver's license.

8. Possess a sincere commitment to the philosophy of Head Start and to the objectives of an early childhood intervention program.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. Manage talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates. Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture. Facilitate performance management processes, including employee evaluations and feedback mechanisms. Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, including FMLA, and workers' compensation regulations. Administer employee benefits programs and manage payroll processes efficiently. Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth opportunities. Address employee relations issues, providing conflict management solutions as needed. Collaborate with senior leadership on organization design and succession planning efforts. Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, Paychex, or Oracle HCM for data collection, analysis, and reporting. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations and service delivery.

Skills



Strong knowledge of human resources management principles, practices, and employment laws. Proven experience in talent management, including sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding processes. Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels. Proficiency in data analysis skills to inform decision-making processes within HR functions. Familiarity with HR software systems such as ADP Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on program management and change management capabilities. Ability to manage budgets effectively while ensuring compliance with contracts related to HR services. Pay: $20.54 - $24.59 per hour
