We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our insurance defense practice in Ladera Ranch, CA. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. Ensures compliance with all state, federal, and local employment laws. All applications will be kept in confidence. We have offices in Carlsbad, Ladera Ranch, Torrance, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, New York, and New Jersey. We are open to hybrid or full-time office depending on experience of the individual we hire.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary HR contact for employees and managers on conduct, conflict, performance, and policy issues. Handle and document employee complaints, investigations, and resolutions, partnering with leadership and outside counsel as needed. Corrective actions, and performance improvement plans (PIPs). Manage confidential, sensitive HR matters with sound judgment and strong documentation practices. Recruiting Oversight. On-boarding and Off-boarding. Compliance. Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced law office environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Proven work experience as an HR Manager or similar role. Strong understanding of labor legislation and employment labor laws. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Conflict management skills with a focus on problem-solving

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
