Human Resources Manager | Government Contractor | Arlington, VA (Onsite)
Our client, a rapidly growing multi-state government contractor, is seeking a Human Resources Manager/Recruiter to lead HR operations, drive recruiting efforts, and support organizational growth. This is a hands-on, onsite role (5 days/week) at the company's headquarters in Arlington, VA .
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruiting, including partnering with hiring managers and ensuring clearance requirements are met
Develop and execute talent acquisition and HR strategies aligned with business goals
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and multi-state employment laws, especially in the federal contracting space
Administer benefits programs, annual performance reviews, merit increases, and 401(k) plan
Oversee employee relations, performance management, investigations, and disciplinary actions
Manage HR policies, processes, and training programs to support workforce development and engagement
Track and analyze HR metrics and manage HRIS and ATS systems
Stay current on HR regulations, trends, and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
5+ years of HR management experience , preferably in a government contracting environment
Proven experience managing recruiting and talent acquisition processes
ADP Workforce Now experience required
HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/ATS systems
