Job Description

IRI, a thriving nonprofit that supports people with developmental disabilities, is seeking a driven Human Resources Manager to provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to the HR team. The Human Resources manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the talent acquisition and the day-to day-functioning of the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Conduct investigations into employee complaints and provide recommendations for resolution. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment and selection strategies. Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees. Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. Provide guidance and support in administering employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. 5. Performance Management Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and development plans. Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters, including coaching and performance improvement strategies. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all HR practices. Maintain accurate HR records and prepare required reports for management and regulatory authorities.

About You

You are the ideal candidate for this role if you are a versatile and motivated HR professional with proven ability to provide expert leadership in the areas of talent acquisition, customer service, compliance, communication, and decision making with working knowledge of all areas of Human Resources Management. You must have good judgement, be a self-starter, organized, and responsive to be successful in this role.

You have at least 5 years' experience in a managerial HR role You have at least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Services or related field You have complete knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and excellent computer skills You have professional maturity and demonstrated good judgement You are an effective leader You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills You are a problem solver with proven ability to design and implement systems You are a strong team player and highly energetic

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
