Job Salary: $55,825.44
Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides analysis, research and technical expertise in a specific area of personnel within an organization. Assists with projects that have a significant impact to the agency.
Job Specific Duties: This position provides HR services to the assigned business unit or offices. This includes coordinating and overseeing recruitment and hiring activities for all positions, developing business relationships with office management and staff to provide quality HR services regarding employee/management concerns; advising management and employees on relevant HR policies and procedures; and overseeing HR analyst activities such as job studies, classification reviews, salary surveys, and workforce planning efforts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The selected candidate must meet the advertised minimum qualifications to include State Entry Qualifications as well as Agency Specific Minimum Qualifications.
STATE ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience in human resources
OR One year of experience required at the lower level HR Spec 1 (HRP020) or position equivalent.
Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.
