JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX News Media is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Washington, D.C. team. This role provides hands-on HR support to our FOX News Bureaus and FOX Latin America, partnering closely with newsroom and operational leaders to foster an engaged, high-performing culture. You'll work closely with teams that deliver trusted journalism across the globe, gaining experience in the day-to-day operations of a dynamic, global media organization. Reporting directly to the SVP of Human Resources for FOX News Bureaus, FOX Weather, and FOX Latin America, this role offers exposure to a wide range of HR functions and the opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced media environment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers across FOX News Bureaus and FOX Latin America
• Support day-to-day HR operations, including processing transactions in our HRIS system, employee onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and employee relations
• Partner with HR leadership to implement talent, engagement, and organizational initiatives across regions
• Assist in coordinating training programs, leadership development, and other learning opportunities
• Collaborate with internal partners in Payroll, Legal, and HR Operations to ensure compliance and accuracy in all HR transactions
• Help analyze workforce trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improved processes and employee experience
• Support communication and implementation of company policies and HR programs
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional HR initiatives as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 1-3 years of HR experience (internship or full-time), preferably in a fast-paced or global organization
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated discretion and professionalism handling confidential information

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills
• Knowledge of U.S. employment law and familiarity with international HR practices

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $80,000.00-96,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
