Care and Dignity Services LLC is hiring a Human Resources Specialist who plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our Human Resources Department. This position provides comprehensive administrative support, ensuring smooth HR operations while delivering a high level of service to employees and job candidates.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. They can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to HR processes and initiatives supporting employees and the organization's overall success.

Responsibilities:



Manage talent acquisition efforts, including reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, scheduling interviews, and assisting with onboarding paperwork for new hires. Provide administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, Coordinate program activities, including developing and updating program plans and procedures, coordinating services and resources, conducting assessments and evaluations, and addressing program-related issues or concerns. Assist with staff meetings or training courses, ensure compliance with regulations and company policies, and communicate with clients, families, and staff as needed. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and implementation of various initiatives and projects. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (required).

2-3 years of Human Resources or administrative experience (preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including MS Teams, SharePoint, and intranet administration (required).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (required).

Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.

Experience with performance management systems like ADP to schedule, track, and maintain performance reviews, corrective actions, and improvement plans (preferred).

Familiarity with ADP WorkforceNow (preferred)

Experience with project management tools like Google Drive (preferred).

Ability to maintain HRIS records and generate reports for compliance, payroll, and performance tracking (preferred).

Knowledge of HR best practices, confidentiality standards, and federal employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and I-9 compliance.

Experience managing Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) compliance, ensuring accurate documentation, timely reverifications, and adherence to federal regulations (required).

Experience using electronic signature platforms like DocuSign for HR documentation and compliance tracking (preferred).

Experience coordinating training programs, including new hire orientation, safety compliance training, and professional development tracking.

Ability to support employee relations initiatives, providing first-line HR assistance while escalating complex concerns appropriately.

Must have a professional demeanor in all interactions, ensuring effective communication and a positive experience for employees and candidates.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively in English to perform essential job functions, including employee interactions, documentation, and compliance-related tasks.

Multi-lingual skills are highly desirable.

Exceptional follow-through, organization, and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and varying scopes.

Highly flexible, proactive, and capable of anticipating needs.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and implement effective solutions promptly.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

Salary listed is non-negotiable

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
