Job Summary:

The HR Generalist at Comfort Squad Homecare Agency plays a vital role in ensuring smooth human resources operations to support our mission of delivering exceptional homecare services. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and administrative functions while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and extending offers. Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless introduction for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.

Employee Relations:

Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, addressing issues professionally and confidentially. Promote a positive work environment by facilitating effective communication between management and staff.

Compliance & Recordkeeping:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Maintain accurate employee records, including background checks, OIG verification, and other required documentation.

Performance Management:

Support managers with performance reviews, coaching, and development plans. Address performance issues and provide guidance on corrective actions.

HR Policies & Procedures:

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Educate employees on policies, benefits, and available resources.

Benefits Administration:

Coordinate employee benefits programs, including enrollment, updates, and employee inquiries.

Training & Development:

Identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Other Duties as Assigned:

Support special projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

2-4 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the healthcare or homecare industry.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
