Job Overview
We are seeking an HR Generalist with a minimum of one year of HR experience to support our HR and Compliance Team. This is a highly client-facing, phone-intensive role and is best suited for someone confident, professional, and comfortable speaking with clients and employees throughout the day.
This position is not suitable for individuals who prefer limited phone interaction or minimal client contact. The ideal candidate is assertive, clear, and composed when handling sensitive HR matters, including delivering difficult messages and supporting employee terminations.
This role provides hands-on exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources from a third-party HR perspective, supporting a variety of clients.
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day HR and compliance functions for multiple clients
Process payroll and manage employee timecards (payroll experience preferred)
Maintain confidential employee files and HR records
Communicate with clients and employees via phone and email
Answer HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance-related questions
Provide on-site HR support, including client meetings
Assist with compliance documentation and reporting
Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience
Payroll experience preferred
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confident, assertive communicator; comfortable with frequent phone calls and direct client interaction
Able to deliver difficult or sensitive information professionally and without hesitation
Highly organized with strong multitasking skills
Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance required; occasional travel to client locations
Schedule:
Full-Time | 4 days / 10hours work week
or
5 days / 8 hours work week
