The Human Resources Generalist I supports the business unit by implementing and administering human resources programs or policies. Provide day-to-day support in human resources services, which includes recruiting and staffing, administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance.

This position will serve our Replacement Parts Division, located in Randleman, NC. This is an on-site position and you will perform this job entirely at our Randleman office.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO:

\xc2\xb7 Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

\xc2\xb7 Administers various human resource plans and procedures for organization personnel.

\xc2\xb7 Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures

\xc2\xb7 prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.

\xc2\xb7 Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees

\xc2\xb7 Conducts new-employee orientations

\xc2\xb7 Monitors career-pathing program and writes and places advertisements.

\xc2\xb7 Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.

\xc2\xb7 Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.

\xc2\xb7 Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration

\xc2\xb7 0-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in human resources generalist function

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to work well with others is a matrix team environment.
