What you will do:
Lead with Vision:
Develop and execute forward-thinking departmental goals and strategic plans that align with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards.
Drive Operational Excellence:
Oversee and optimize day-to-day departmental operations--including patient care delivery, technology utilization, service levels, and complaint resolution--to meet and exceed performance benchmarks.
Build & Empower High-Performing Teams:
Lead all staffing efforts, from recruiting and onboarding to coaching, performance evaluations, corrective action, and ongoing professional development.
Own the Budget:
Prepare, manage, and evaluate departmental budgets, ensuring operational performance remains aligned with financial targets and organizational accountability.

Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits to ensure full regulatory compliance and continuous quality improvement.

What is required:
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred or applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education
4+ years of professional Human Resources experience within a healthcare setting
Requires strong working knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA), business office operations, and the ability to interpret and apply organizational policies and procedures.
Advanced Business & Analytical Skills: Ability to perform complex calculations, interpret workforce data, analyze trends, and translate insights into strategic HR decisions. Skilled in using metrics, ratios, and performance indicators to support organizational objectives.
HR Technology & Systems Proficiency: Strong command of HRIS platforms, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and document management systems. Able to create, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and presentations that drive data-informed HR strategy.
Executive-Level Communication: Capable of conveying complex HR information to leadership, resolving sensitive issues, and guiding organizational decision-making. Skilled in influencing, motivating, and building consensus across all levels of the organization.
Strategic Problem-Solving: Adept at analyzing multifaceted HR and business challenges, developing actionable solutions, and applying best practices in compliance, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
Departmental & Organizational Impact: Makes decisions that directly affect HR operations and contribute to companywide strategy. Provides input into policies, programs, and operational frameworks that support organizational goals.
Leadership & Independent Judgement: Sets departmental goals, establishes priorities, and provides guidance to leaders and staff. Exercises sound judgment in resolving complex employee relations issues and HR operational needs.
Project & Change Management: Manages multiple, concurrent HR initiatives--including policy implementation, system upgrades, and organizational change efforts--while coordinating resources, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely execution.
