HR Coordinator Responsibilities:
Conducting interviews.
Background checks, and credential verification.
Managing onboarding and orientation for new employees.
Ensuring staff meet state and federal licensing requirements.
Keeping up with regulatory changes (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, CMS).
Tracking certifications and renewal deadlines.
Promoting a positive work culture and employee engagement.
Managing disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
Payroll processing and timekeeping systems.
Administering employee benefits (health insurance, retirement plans).
Assisting with leave management (FMLA, sick leave, vacation).
Coordinating workers compensation and return-to-work programs.
Conducting employee evaluations and feedback sessions.
Requirements:
2 years of nursing home HR experience
HS Diploma or equivalent
Candidates must be available to work full time hours in the nursing home.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Responsible for completing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in excelforce a plus
