JOB SUMMARY
Salary range: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.
Work location: Hybrid; Vancouver, WA.
Holland is seeking an eager, detail oriented professional to join our highly collaborative Human Resources team to help provide efficient service to our employees across the organization. The Human Resources Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This individual will enter and maintain employee data in Holland's HRIS and ATS, communicate personnel changes to stakeholders, and ensure compliance of employee records in accordance with Holland Partner Group's Core Values. This individual works under direct supervision with limited decision-making authority.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Respond to or appropriately forward Human Resource-related inquiries while exercising considerable judgment and discretion and providing excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate and facilitate New Hire Onboarding and provide support to New Hires and Hiring Managers, including the assignment and completion of new hire and onboarding paperwork.
  • Enter and maintain employee data in various human resources systems (i.e. HRIS, ATS) and prepare and distribute reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Confirm worker eligibility using the E-Verify system in compliance with federal requirements.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain various departmental files and employee records.
  • Assist with the administration of Holland's benefit and compensation programs including preparation of policy documents and tracking employee registration and acknowledgement .
  • Assist with maintaining up-to-date HR documents, including departmental forms, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate various employee discount programs.
  • Scan, file, and distribute Human Resources incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Coordinate labor law postings, and other compliance materials and processes, with existing and new properties/offices/locations.
  • Support the Human Resources and Payroll departments with special projects as needed.
  • Prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
  • Promote and coordinate employee engagement events and programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and information.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all staff to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree or related coursework is strongly preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in customer service or office setting. Prior experience in Human Resources strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Demonstrated high level of skill in both verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees while inspiring respect and credibility.
  • Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products required.
  • Ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.
  • Basic office organizational skills such as filing, mailing, and shipping.
  • Must be proactive, flexible, responsible, and resourceful.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
Attendance: This full-time position requires regular and punctual attendance compliant with the schedule set to meet company needs. Additional hours or overtime may be required.
This position also requires:
  • Ability to lift or move up to twenty (20) pounds.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
