JOB SUMMARY



Supports the organization and entry of all Human Resources information and data. Ensures all new hires and terminations are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Ensures HR procedures are followed with HR files and Payroll functions.

Assists with conducting full-cycle recruitment of new employees, including placing advertisements, developing contacts with recruiting sources, interviewing, consulting with internal hiring managers and managing orientation and onboarding;

Makes recommendations regarding HR operational procedures.

Accurately inputs employee data into benefits, payroll and HR systems in a timely manner.

Administers employee benefit package and communicates revisions to staff;

Performs employee off-boarding tasks, including conducting exit interviews, recovering Agency assets, updating organizational charts, and notifying appropriate staff;

Monitors and tracks credentials, certifications and work permits to ensure that all work requirements are met;

Coordinates with Fiscal staff in ensure payroll and benefits are accurately reflected each payroll cycle;

Processes Status Change Forms and ensures proper approvals;

Coordinates and works with internal and external resources to provide services for the agency.

Performs a variety of administrative/clerical work as required, including but not limited to

attending meetings, compiling data for reports, preparing reports and correspondence, entering computer data, copying documents, collating materials, etc.;

Performs other duties as may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS



Demonstrated ability to accurately enter data in various systems;

Demonstrated ability to make independent judgments;

Strong organizational skills;

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility to work effectively with all levels of staff;

Maintain the upmost of integrity and confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



Two years administrative experience or combination of education and experience. Associate's degree preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS



Requires the ability to exert some physical effort, such as walking, standing and light lifting; minimal dexterity in the use of fingers, limbs and body in the operation of office equipment.

Requires the ability to maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception required for communicating with others.

May require extended periods of time at a computer.

WORK ENVIRONMENT



Normal office environment.
