The Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta is a comprehensive behavioral healthcare facility dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services to the surrounding community. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our organizational staffing, employee relations, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of human resources management practices. As a key member of our team, you will facilitate talent acquisition, employee onboarding, performance management, and HRIS administration to ensure efficient workforce management aligned with our mission and values.
Coordinate recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), and conducting interviews.
Oversee employee onboarding processes, including orientation sessions and documentation to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and leave policies such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act).
Support employee relations initiatives by addressing workplace concerns, managing conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment.
Maintain accurate HR data entry within HRIS platforms such as Workday, UltiPro, or Oracle HCM; ensure data collection is precise and up-to-date.
Assist in performance management processes by coordinating employee evaluations and supporting training & development programs.
Contribute to compliance efforts related to employment & labor law, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), affirmative action planning, and organizational design.
Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles within healthcare or related sectors.
Familiarity with HR sourcing tools such as iCIMS, Lawson, CISIVE, CheckPT; experience with ATS systems is preferred.
Knowledge of employment law regulations including FMLA, workers' compensation policies, OSHA standards, and labor law compliance.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff at all levels and external partners.
Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday; proficiency in data collection and reporting is advantageous.
