Hiring Pay Ranges:

$75,000.00-95,000.00 per year


Human Resources Business Partner II - $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year Human Resources Business Partner III $85,000.00-95,000.00 per year + The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary




The Human Resources Officer will act as a proactive and collaborative Human Resources Business Partner. This individual is responsible for serving as a trusted advisor to managers and employees of their assigned regions of the Company, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development, interpretation of employment law and internal policies, salary administration, etc. This position will assist with internal human resources auditing procedures, survey administration, and analytics.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities




Partner with management of assigned regions to provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary action, and pay administration in compliance with Bank policy, employment law, and bank regulatory requirements. Acts as liaison between Human Resources Department and regional employees. Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, talent development, performance evaluation, and offboarding. Consults with managers on administering salary guidelines to support equitable and consistent pay decisions within assigned regions. Conduct exit interviews to understand reasons behind separations. Conduct thorough, timely, and neutral workplace investigations into policy violations, employee complaints and other sensitive matters as needed; document findings and recommend appropriate actions. Lead or contribute to HR projects, as assigned by the HR Director. Assists the Leave of Absence Administrator and Human Resources Coordinator with answering questions and backup support to the leave of absence and workers compensation administration. Assists the Human Resources Coordinator with support to the new hire, onboarding, personnel change, and offboarding processes. Oversees internal auditing for the human resources department monthly. Ensures organizational charts are updated monthly. Manages the semi-annual performance review process with assistance from the Human Resources Coordinator. Manages the administration of Company surveys. Assists the HR Director with the completion of turnover data and analytics. Provides backup support as needed to the Bank's HRIS (UKG). Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including the FLSA, JAFA, HFWA, Title VII, OSHA, HIPAA, etc. Ensures compliance with all record-keeping requirements. Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position. Other duties may be assigned.



Education and/or Experience




Human Resources Business Partner II




3 - 5 years of related human resources experience with 2 years of employee relations experience required. Preferred Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred. Previous experience with an HRIS; direct experience with Kronos or UKG preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Human Resources Business Partner III




5 - 7 years of related human resources experience with 2 years of employee relations experience required. Preferred Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
