We're seeking a detail-driven, people-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the daily functions of our HR department in a fast-paced airline catering environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys helping others, and is comfortable balancing administrative tasks with hands-on support.


This role ensures accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of HR processes while serving as a key point of contact for employee inquiries. By supporting both employees and HR leadership, the Human Resources Assistant contributes to creating an efficient, employee-focused, and compliant HR environment that aligns with LSG Sky Chefs' organizational goals.

Main Accountabilities

Support the administration of HR policies, procedures, and union agreements Manage uniform inventory, which includes maintaining organized records and occasionally lifting items up to 20 lbs. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws Maintain accurate records and personnel documentation Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers across various departments Help resolve employee inquiries with a customer-service mindset Prepare onboarding materials and assist with new hire orientation sessions Completes periodic audits on internal records (e.g. I-9 Forms, employee files, etc.) to ensure compliance.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
