Job Overview


We at Pine Crest Health and Memory Care are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of human resources policies. This role is essential for fostering a positive workplace environment and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This position is responsible for ensuring that our core values of CAPLICO are felt and understood on the floor!

Duties



Assist in talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. Support employee orientation programs to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires. Maintain employee records and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data entry, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation. Collaborate with HR team members on performance management initiatives and employee evaluations. Provide support for change management processes and strategic planning efforts within the organization. Handle employee relations matters, addressing concerns and facilitating conflict management as needed. Assist in the development and implementation of training & development programs for staff. Participate in affirmative action planning and succession planning activities. Utilize ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as Workday for recruitment processes. Collect data for HR metrics and reports to support workforce management strategies. Ensure compliance with employment & labor laws, OSHA regulations, and FMLA guidelines.

Requirements



Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles; familiarity with HR sourcing techniques is a plus. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law principles, including FMLA and OSHA regulations. Proficiency in project management skills to assist with various HR initiatives effectively. Experience with HRIS platforms such as Oracle HCM, Paychex, Dayforce, or similar systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with employees at all levels. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with social media management for recruitment purposes is desirable. Knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP or Paylocity is advantageous. Administrative experience that includes data collection and reporting capabilities.
