Smart Resources, Inc is hiring a

Human Resources Assistant. We are a human resources consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations across Puerto Rico strengthen their teams through effective HR strategies, compliance, and employee engagement.

What You'll Do



As part of our consulting team, you'll support multiple clients and learn how real-world HR operates. Your key responsibilities will include:

Screening resumes, scheduling and coordinating interviews for clients and internal positions. Supporting the onboarding process by preparing new hire documents and assisting with orientations. Creating presentations for employee trainings, seminars, and onboarding sessions. Managing social media accounts and the company website, including posting updates and creating engaging HR-related content. Performing general clerical and administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining HR records. Auditing and updating employee files to ensure compliance with Puerto Rico and federal labor laws. Tracking and maintaining employee credentials, certifications, and training records. Supporting disciplinary documentation and processes. Assisting with workplace investigations. Helping with employee communications and engagement activities. Occasionally visiting client sites around the island to assist with HR tasks, orientations, or trainings. Supporting HR audits, compliance reviews, and special projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field. Basic knowledge of labor legislation applicble in Puerto Rico. At least 6 months to 1 year progressive Human Resources experience Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Great communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Comfortable using social media and basic content creation tools. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Willingness to travel locally as needed. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
