We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions essential to effective workforce management. The ideal candidate will assist with talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS management, contributing to a positive organizational culture and strategic HR initiatives. Responsibilities
Assist in talent acquisition processes including sourcing candidates via ATS platforms like iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo, and coordinating interviews.
Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
Maintain accurate employee records through data entry and management within HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro.
Aid in performance management processes, including tracking evaluations and supporting employee development initiatives.
Help administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans.
Support compliance with employment & labor law regulations such as FMLA, OSHA, and affirmative action planning.
Contribute to change management projects and assist with organization design and workforce planning efforts.
Facilitate communication between employees and management to resolve conflicts and improve employee relations.
Assist with data collection for HR analytics and reporting purposes using platforms like Paychex, ADP, or Dayforce.
Support training & development programs by coordinating sessions and maintaining training records.
Participate in HR sourcing efforts through social media management and other recruiting channels.
Experience
Prior experience in human resources or administrative roles is preferred.
Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, or ADP is highly desirable.
Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation policies, and HR compliance requirements is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Proven organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with data entry, project management tools, and HRIS platforms will be beneficial for success in this role. Pay: $20.17 - $27.91 per hour
