We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions essential to organizational success. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a basic understanding of office operations, human resource initiatives and a working knowledge of HRIS systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in human resources management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration within a dynamic environment. This position will also be responsible for front desk reception duties.
Responsibilities
Greet all guests and answer the corporate phone, direct calls to appropriate party.
Assist with talent acquisition processes to include recruiting, HR sourcing, and applicant tracking of all candidates.
Responsible for conducting new hire orientation and initial training programs.
Ensure that all new hire paperwork is made ready for orientation.
Run background checks and schedule pre-hire drug screens.
Assist in maintaining employee records.
Responsible for company mail-outs.
Typing job descriptions and creating forms on Canva, Word or other programs as needed.
Will assist in daily human resource tasks to support the department to be completed within a timely manner.

Requirements
Proven experience or familiarity with human resources management functions including talent acquisition, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Knowledge of employment and labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation policies, and HR compliance standards helpful.
Proficiency with HRIS systems such as ADP.
Excellent communication skills--both written and verbal--and must handle sensitive information confidentially.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Administrative experience needed to support HR functions. This position provides a vital role within our organization by supporting the development of a productive workforce through effective human resources practices. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; proficient in emailing, Excel, etc.
