To provide assistance in all aspects of the Human Resources Department including but not limited to Benefits Administration, Recruiting and Onboarding, and HRIS Administration. Incumbent will maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in all personnel matters.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintain all personnel files in appropriate manner
Completes all department filing in a timely manner, ensuring the utmost accuracy
Assist with the recruiting function as needed including material preparation
Maintain job postings and applicant tracking on HRIS, serving as point of contact
Complete all new hire paperwork within allotted timeframe
Complete benefit insurance forms with eligible employees and ensure they are enrolled/terminated in the appropriate timeframes
Complete all paperwork related to benefits, i.e. COBRA, HIPAA, etc
Complete verifications of employment as required
Maintain all department databases
Administer YMCA benefits plans, including enrollment, termination and invoice processing
Respond to questions related to benefits, policies and/or procedures
Assist in the coordination of our employee recognition program
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
A minimum of 3 years administrative experience, previous experience in Human Resource preferred.
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Knowledge of employment/labor laws
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems
