Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Assistant
Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8:00 AM- 4:30/5:00 PM, Monday through Friday,40 hours a week, located in Newport News, 23606
Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life of a Human Resource Assistant
As a Human Resource Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting and overseeing all HR functions within our ENT medical facility. You will manage employee benefits, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and help foster a positive and efficient workplace culture. Your role will involve handling day-to-day HR operations, maintaining accurate personnel records, onboarding new employees, and serving as a knowledgeable resource for staff and management on HR related matters. This position is in Newport News.
Requirements for the Human Resource Specialist:
Required: 2+ years experience
Required: Strong understanding of employment laws and healthcare compliance standards.
Required: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Required: Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resource Specialist:
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Preferred: Experience in HR within a healthcare or medical office setting
Benefits:
$18-20 an hour (depending on experience level)
