Summary:
We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our team and help with the day-to-day tasks of our HR department. The HR Assistant will handle administrative duties and support the overall hiring process. We are looking for someone with strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about HR, we would be thrilled to meet you.
Responsibilities:

• Assist with hiring, arranging interviews, coordinating hiring efforts, and onboarding new employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, records, and documentation.
• Maintaining employee information, such as applications, resumes, and applicant logs.
• Point of contact for answering commonly asked questions from both applicants and employees regarding standard policies, benefits, and the hiring process.
• Verify completion of pre-employment activities, and help employees understand benefit programs.
• Provide essential clerical support to the HR department, contributing to its overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as a liaison between the HR department and employees to facilitate communication and conflict resolution.
• Assists in the coordination and execution of special events, including new hire orientation, benefits enrollment, office meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous HR experience in a car or RV dealership is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedules.
• Ability to handle discrepancies or other issues professionally.
• Willing and able to work extended hours when needed.
