Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR/Safety Assistant to support our human resources and safety initiatives. This role involves assisting with human capital management, compliance with OSHA standards, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in HRIS systems and safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic HR functions, employee relations, and safety programs within a dynamic organization.

Duties



Support talent acquisition processes including HR sourcing, ATS management, and candidate screening. Assist with employee orientation, onboarding, and training & development programs. Manage employee evaluation processes and performance management initiatives. Administer benefits programs, including benefits administration and workers' compensation claims. Maintain accurate data entry within HRIS platforms such as Paycor, SAP SuccessFactors, or UltiPro. Coordinate workforce management activities using Kronos or Dayforce systems. Support compliance efforts related to employment & labor law, FMLA, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning. Contribute to change management projects and organization design initiatives. Facilitate employee relations by addressing concerns and managing conflict resolution processes. Assist with project management tasks related to HR initiatives and safety programs. Prepare reports on data collection, HR metrics, and safety incident tracking using Salesforce or other data tools. Support social media management for internal communications related to HR updates and safety campaigns.

Qualifications



Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles with exposure to HR functions such as talent acquisition, performance management, or benefits administration. Familiarity with HRIS systems including Workday, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or ADP is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, employment & labor law compliance (including FMLA), and safety protocols. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for effective employee engagement and conflict management. Experience with project management tools and data entry platforms such as UltiPro, Paychex, Paylocity, or iCIMS preferred. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining confidentiality. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
