About the Role
Shamrock is seeking a data-savvy HRIS Specialist to support the configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of our HR systems, with a focus on the recruiting module. This role requires a blend of functional HR knowledge and strong technical expertise in data analytics, reporting, and system support. The ideal candidate will bring advanced Excel and Power BI skills, a solid understanding of HR data structures, and the ability to translate business needs into efficient system configurations and reports. You will play a critical role in system administration, reporting, and process improvement initiatives across the HR and Recruiting teams.
What You'll Do
Maintain and support the recruiting module (Job Requisitions, workflows, offer templates, career site configurations, etc.)
Provide support, troubleshooting and guidance to recruiters and hiring managers with system access
Create system documentation, user guides and training materials to facilitate user adoption and knowledge transfer
Conduct regular audits of job postings, candidate pipelines, external job board management and system data to ensure accuracy
Generate and distribute recruiting-related reports and dashboards
Participate in testing and validation of system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing third-party recruiting integrations
Manage employee data within the HRIS system, including data entry, updates and maintenance
Develop ad-hoc reporting for HR team and managers for all business units
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and project deadlines
Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion - this position is privy to sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality of all company-related information is an ongoing requirement
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, application operational efficiency, and security
Perform other related duties and projects as required and assigned
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field required
1-3 years of experience supporting HRIS systems (Ceridian Dayforce strongly preferred)
Demonstrated Power BI experience: building dashboards, integrating data sources, writing DAX formulas
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required (pivot tables, formulas, macros, Power Query)
Strong understanding of HR business processes (e.g., recruiting, onboarding, data management)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Experience with data mapping, data imports/exports, and data audits
Ability to interpret complex data sets and transform them into actionable business insights
Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Experience with API integrations and reporting tools a plus
