HR Specialist [Senior Associate]

We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will serve as a trusted support to manage Human Resources functions which include talent acquisition, review compensation and benefits packages, setting up company policies and maintaining updated employee records. To be successful in this role, you should foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage petty cash account and make company purchases as needed
  • Answer & manage general incoming calls to the firm - listening to voicemails and follow up as needed
  • Handle admin & program-related mailings
  • Work with Senior Clinical/Business Analyst, and Program Directors as needed on assigned tasks
  • Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly. Recruit talented and skilled personnel & onboard new hire. Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
  • Review & maintain compensation and benefits packages, and support with administering health and life insurance programs. Inform employees about additional benefits they\xe2\x80\x99re eligible for
  • Implement training and development plans
  • Plan for quarterly and annual performance review sessions
  • Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
  • Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
  • Support with development and implementation of HR policies throughout the organization
  • Process employees\xe2\x80\x99 queries and respond in a timely manner; and foster a healthy workplace
  • Work with legal team to stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation; especially in the healthcare Industry & update appropriate policies & handbook
  • Serve as point of contact for workman\'s compensation with provider and employees
  • Support Medicalincs social media team as needed
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as an Administrator & Talent Development liaison
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), like BambooHR and PeopleSoft
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
  • Familiarity with full cycle recruiting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a people person
  • Very responsive & Good problem-solving abilities
  • Team management skills
  • BSc in a relevant healthcare field
