Overview:
The Actuarial Executive Development Program (AEDP) is an early-career leadership development program aimed at developing future business leaders across The Cigna Group. The program currently supports over 160 early-career actuaries through 18-24 month job rotations, attainment of an educational credential from the Society of Actuaries, and various leadership development opportunities.
As the AEDP continues to grow, we need additional operational leadership to ensure the program functions can scale to support the needs of our future leaders. The Program Operations Lead will support key aspects of maintaining and growing a thriving AEDP, by developing new processes and procedures to support the program as it grows. This role will drive key strategic initiatives critical to operating the AEDP, including communication strategy, process improvement, and workforce planning. In addition, the role will own day-to-day execution of critical program functions and provide additional mentorship and support to program members.
Key objectives:
Develop and execute new processes and procedures to support the AEDP at scale, for example:
Develop a more efficient rotation exploration and matching process
Develop improved processes for year-end compensation planning
Develop scaled processes for managing recruiting candidate flow
Develop and execute on an AEDP internal and external communication strategy, for example:
Plan and develop materials for regular program-wide town hall meetings
Partner with Talent Acquisition team to develop and execute an external social media and branding strategy
Plan and execute a senior leader speaker series for program members
Develop and maintain a DE&I scorecard
Assist Program Director in developing and executing long-term workforce planning items, for example:
Talent profile development
External training strategy
Mentorship approach
Insights survey analysis
Own day-to-day AEDP program operations, including:
Employee onboarding
Immigration support
Roster and records management
Vendor management
Event planning for program-wide functions (e.g. annual summit, graduation dinner, etc.)
Budget management and planning
Develop relationships with program members and serve as additional support resource for member-specific issues
Qualifications:
2+ years of work experience in operations, human resources, program management, leadership development, or related field
Proven track record of execution on detail-oriented and time-sensitive work
Experience leading and contributing to project-based, change-focused work
Strong business acumen with the ability to learn and understand actuarial workforce priorities, program culture, the Society of Actuaries exam curriculum, and other unique aspects of the program
Effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals
Ability to build strong relationships with program members, partners, and colleagues
Comfortable in Excel (basic/intermediate charts, formulas, etc.) Able to manipulate data to create insights and tell a data-driven story
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree minimum
Travel up to 10%

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 74,200 - 123,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
