Position Summary





The HR Employee Relations Manager helps lead, organize, and administer all employee relations activities to ensure a fair, consistent, and compliant workplace. This role provides advisory counsel to the HR team, works closely with the Vice President of HR to support strategic and operational goals, and builds strong partnerships across departments to enhance communication, collaboration, and employee engagement.

ey Responsibilities




Help lead and coordinate employee relations functions including performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

Responsible for Employee Relations Case Management

Responsible for Leave Management

Responsible for Grievance Management

Provide expert guidance and advisory support to HR team members and managers on policy interpretation, employee relations best practices, and employment law compliance.

Partner closely with the VP of HR to align employee relations strategies with organizational and operational objectives.

Support day-to-day HR operations by ensuring timely and effective resolution of workplace issues while promoting positive employee experiences.

Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders, managers, and employees across departments to foster trust and collaboration.

Organize and oversee the administration of employee relations processes, documentation, and reporting in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Communicate effectively with leadership to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend proactive solutions to mitigate risk and improve workplace culture.

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and training to support consistency and compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency, organizational development, and employee engagement initiatives.





Qualifications





Education:


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Advanced degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.

Experience:


5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, operations, and leadership support. Strong background in advising leadership and managing employee relations cases. In-depth understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and workplace policy administration.



Skills and Competencies




Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with executives and operational leaders. High degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment in handling confidential matters. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Commitment to building a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work culture.

Working Conditions




Typical office environment with occasional travel to company sites as needed. May require additional hours during peak HR activity periods or investigations.
