HR Coordinator

Responsibilities: Support various HR functions, fostering a positive work environment, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Employee Relations:
+ Address employee inquiries and requests regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
+ Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs. Onboarding/Offboarding:
+ Lead the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, internal accounts set-up, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
+ Lead the offboarding process to include communications, account deactivation, equipment returns, exit interviews, and ensuring a smooth transition for both the employee and the company. HR Integration:
+ Work with management and stakeholders on integration activities in all aspects of HR, specifically system integrations, as a result of mergers and acquisitions. Benefits Administration:
+ Manage enrollment, changes, and terminations for various benefits programs, such as health, dental, and vision plans.
+ Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
+ Serve as the liaison between employees and benefit providers.
+ Assist with payroll processing as it relates to benefits.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Administrative Support:
+ Manage HR documentation.
+ Manage the HR inbox.
+ Coordinate training programs and workshops for employees.
+ Plan and coordinate company events.
+ Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
+ Prepare reports and presentations for management on HR activities. Participate in and contribute to special projects aimed at improving processes, enhancing employee experience, data analysis, and streamlining HR operations.
Perform other duties as assigned within HR and across other functional areas as needed.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role (1+ years)
Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and industry trends
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Experience and proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
US citizenship
Desired Qualifications
SHRM-CP or other certification in the HR field
Proficiency in Paylocity
Experience supporting government contractors
Experience with HR integration resulting from mergers and acquisitions
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
